Why Does the useEffect Error Occur in React and How to Fix It?
In this post, I take a detailed look at the infinite loop rendering problem, which is a headache for many Junior Developers...
Why does useEffect enter an infinite loop?
An infinite loop is usually caused by incorrect use of the dependency array. If you are updating state inside useEffect and this state is included in the dependency array, the component will be constantly re-rendered.
// Incorrect Usage
useEffect(() => {
setSayac(sayac + 1);
}, [sayac]); // Triggers again on every state change!
What is the solution?
You can use a callback function for the state update to reference the current value, or you can optimize the dependency array correctly. Performance is crucial in professional development.
